The Jolly Tar offers a traditional cosy bar, award winning accommodation, fresh locally sourced food with the addition of fresh fish & seafood. Local steak is farmed nearby and chargrilled to your preference. Lunchtime menu’s are different to our evening menu’s so come and give us a try. We serve food Tuesday to Sunday evenings and Wednesday to Sunday lunchtimes, bookings advisable. We have a special lunchtime menu on a Wednesday for the older generation (over 65’s), the menu changes every week so go on, give your OAPs a treat.

We plan to offer Jazz nights and entertainment, a great way to spend a warm summer Saturday night on the patio with a glass of wine and a local saxophonist player. Winter is a perfect time to come visit us, and a warm welcome will always be on hand in front of our open log fires on a cold frosty night.
